On Friday mornings, for just half an hour, we meet to pray God’s blessings on our local community. This starts at 9 a.m. and we are meeting together at St Cuthbert's Church, Great Salkeld in the vestry. (on the Left after you go into the church.) Contact Peter Pickthall for more details.
All over the country similar groups are praying at the same time. This is a positive way of praying for our community.

Taize style service at Langwathby Chapel at 5pm on first Sunday of the month- next on 4th January.

A contemplative and peaceful style of music and worship following a pattern developed by the Taize community in France. All are welcome.

Midweek Communion Service at Eden Court, Lazonby, monthly - next on Thursday 8th January.

Eden Court, Fiddlers Lane Lazonby Eden Court is managed housing on the right as you turn into Fiddlers Lane from the main road in Lazonby. The service is held in their main lounge., CA10 1BH

A chance to meet with others midweek for a simple service with Holy Communion, prayers and a short talk.
Followed by a chance for a chat.
This normally occurs monthly on the 1st. Thursday of the month.

You are welcome to join us to worship God together in our Holy Communion Service. This will be led by Rev. Fiona Jenkins.
We will be joined by people from Lazonby.

"Zest" at St. Nicholas' Church, Lazonby on Sunday 18th January at 10am.

Monthly. Every Third Sunday at for 1 hour

St. Nicholas' Church, Lazonby - on your left as you drive down through the village towards Kirkoswald - after you go under the railway bridge., CA10 1BL

"Zest" is a more informal service , family friendly, but definitely suitable for all ages - 0 to 100! In the middle 1/3 of the service there is the opportunity to go into a group of your choosing (all ages) - craft, Lego, mindful colouring, bible or newspaper discussion group - or just spending time quietly on your own with God. Totally unpressurised and an opportunity for interaction with God and with one another. Good refreshments and chat afterwards
