On Friday mornings, for just half an hour, we meet to pray God’s blessings on our local community. This starts at 9 a.m. and we are meeting together at St Cuthbert's Church, Great Salkeld in the vestry. (on the Left after you go into the church.) Contact Peter Pickthall for more details.
All over the country similar groups are praying at the same time. This is a positive way of praying for our community.

Palm Sunday walk and services -starting at Kirkoswald Methodist Chapel -Sunday 29th March at 10-30am

Join with us to celebrate Palm Sunday. We start at Kirkoswald Methodist Chapel, and walk through the village singing hymns, and finishing with a service at St. Oswald's Church (starting at 11-15am approx.) At the front of our procession will be a donkey, as on Palm Sunday we remember that Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a donkey.
There will be tea/coffee at St. Oswald's Church from 10-45 am.
This is a joint event for all the churches and chapels in our Mission Community, and visitors are welcome to join us. Feel free to come for just part of this special event.
