Eden Court, Fiddlers Lane Lazonby Eden Court is managed housing on the right as you turn into Fiddlers Lane from the main road in Lazonby. The service is held in their main lounge., CA10 1BH

A chance to meet with others midweek for a simple service with Holy Communion, prayers and a short talk.
Followed by a chance for a chat.
This normally occurs monthly on the 1st. Thursday of the month.

Friday morning prayers held weekly to bless our local community.

On Friday mornings, for just half an hour, we meet to pray God’s blessings on our local community. This starts at 9 a.m. and we are meeting together at St Cuthbert's Church, Great Salkeld in the vestry. (on the Left after you go into the church.) Contact Peter Pickthall for more details.
All over the country similar groups are praying at the same time. This is a positive way of praying for our community.

Great Salkeld Remembrance Sunday service on Sunday 9th. November at 10-45am.

A time to remember and honour those who have died in conflict.
This event will start in church at 10.45am before going out to the war memorial at 11am and then returning to church. It will be led by Peter Pickthall.

"Zest" at St. Nicholas' Church, Lazonby on Sunday 16th November at 10am.

Monthly. Every Third Sunday at for 1 hour

St. Nicholas' Church, Lazonby - on your left as you drive down through the village towards Kirkoswald - after you go under the railway bridge., CA10 1BL

"Zest" is a more informal service , family friendly, but definitely suitable for all ages - 0 to 100! In November we will use the Parable of the Good Samaritan to look at the topic of 'Safeguarding'.
In the middle 1/3 of the service there is the opportunity to go into a group of your choosing (all ages) - craft, Lego, mindful colouring, bible or newspaper discussion group - or just spending time quietly on your own with God. Totally unpressurised and an opportunity for interaction with God and with one another. Good refreshments and chat afterwards

You are welcome to come and join us as we meet one another and worship God together in this Holy Communion service.
Simple refreshments are available before the service, from 10-20am - a good chance for a chat.
