St. Peter's Church Gala Saturday 27th June 2026 1.50pm

We have been celebrating the Gala for at least 64 years this Year.

Pictures of all former Gala Queens since 1962 are displayed in Church – St. Peter’s Lindal

Church is open every day 10 to 4pm for you to see them.

Calling all former Gala Queens - 

We would love any former Gala Queens to join us on the day. 

They will have free entry and a complimentary strawberry tea and an opportunity to share their memories of their special day.

St. Peter's Lindal Church Gala

Saturday 27th June on The Green, Lindal in Furness

Our Gala Queen Layla will open the Gala after the tradition parade from Church at 1.50pm.

The parade will be led from Church, by the retiring Queen, Olivia and her entourage, accompanied by Dalton Town Band.

There will be:- delicious Strawberry Teas

Big raffle, Home baking, 

Tombola, Books and cards

Bran Tub, 

Children's games.

also featuring Dalton Town Band and Lily the street organ.

Admission £1, Children free.
