St. Paul's was built in 1669 following the bequest of John Barwick, born in Witherslack but who rose to become Dean of St. Pauls's Cathedral.
Today we hold services every 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month generally according to the following pattern:
1st Sunday 9.30am Holy Communion (CW) or Morning Worship (CW)
3rd Sunday 9.30am Holy Communion (CW or BCP). On 4th Sunday every other month we hold Cafe Church in the Parish Hall at 10.00am
We are part of an evolving Team of 7 parishes and on a 5th Sunday in the month we hold one United Service which rotates around the Benefice.
