The Parish Church of Saint Paul, Grange-over-Sands
St Paul's is the parish church of the town of Grange-over-Sands, part of the Cartmel Peninsula Team Ministry which has sought to proclaim the love of God in word and deed since being built in 1853.
St Paul's is now open for worship each Sunday at 11 am with all the Government and Church of England restrictions in place. From November, we shall also be open for a said service of Holy Communion on the first Wednesday of each month. Unfortunately the buildings remain closed when there is no service.
The church seeks to be at the heart of the community of Grange-over-Sands, offering a warm welcome to parishioners, residents and to the many visitors who join us throughout the year. Our mission is to demonstrate the love of Jesus Christ through prayer, worship and service.
St Mary's Staveley-in-Cartmel
Welcome to St Mary's Staveley-in-Cartmel!
We are a friendly church meeting in a stunningly beautiful building at the foot of Lake Windermere in the English Lake District. We're a short walk from Fellfoot, the National Trust property which is right on the lake.
We gather most Sundays at 11.00; on fifth Sundays we have a united gathering with Haverthwaite and Finsthwaite (see the noticeboards).
St Mary's Staveley-in-Cartmel is a wonderful building for a wedding, nestled amongst the trees, away from the noise of busy Lake District traffic.

Most churches are “Excepted Charities” and are therefore not registered with the Charity Commission. You can download a PDF that includes your church name, address and church code. This PDF, which is an extract from the Church of England’s database of churches, can serve as a certificate for churches requiring proof of their charity status when registering for online and card-based giving. Click on the download button below and fill in the short form. You will then be emailed the certificate as a PDF.
