An informal communion service, suitable for children, with a message or activity for younger worshippers.
Coffee/tea is served from 10.50 a.m. People sit in small groups around tables. About 11.10 there is a short time of worship, followed by discussion of a theme in the table groups. The service ends with prayers of intercession, and we sing the blessing to each other.
First Tuesday has been described as a Youth Club for the over 50s! You can play pool, or table tennis, or board games, but some people just sit and chat around a table well stocked with refreshments. Tea and coffee are available throughout the 2 hours between 2pm and 4pm on the first Tuesday of the month.

Sometimes Common Worship and informal Communion services are swapped.
An afternoon of craft activity for all ages, ending with a brief message or song, and followed by tea. (Currently this is mainly attended by primary school aged and pre-school children with their parents/carers, but it could be developed if other age groups started to attend.)
One of the preachers, lay or ordained, from the Methodist Circuit leads a service in the Methodist tradition. As this tradition gives considerable freedom to the person appointed to lead, we cannot be too specific, but usually there are hymns, prayers and a sermon or other kind of message.
