Includes hymns and sermon

A service of Holy Communion with celebration of Harvest

One of the preachers, lay or ordained, from the Methodist Circuit leads a service in the Methodist tradition. As this tradition gives considerable freedom to the person appointed to lead, we cannot be too specific, but usually there are hymns, prayers and a sermon or other kind of message.

Craft activities for children, and adults combined with an all age communion service.

An informal communion service, suitable for children, with a message or activity for younger worshippers.

Coffee/tea is served from 10.50 a.m. People sit in small groups around tables. About 11.10 there is a short time of worship, followed by discussion of a theme in the table groups. The service ends with prayers of intercession, and we sing the blessing to each other.

An act of Remembrance included in the Holy Communion Service.
