Church of England Diocese of Carlisle St. Peter, Kells

St Peter Church, Kells

On behalf of everyone associated with St. Peter’s Church, let me take this opportunity to offer you a very warm welcome.

St. Peter's is an Anglican church and serves the communities of Kells, Woodhouse and Greenbank.

We are a warm, welcoming and friendly church, where Jesus is central to our lives, the Bible is our guide and everyone is important. Anyone who joins us is assured of a warm and friendly welcome.

We provide modern worship, which is rooted in the tradition of the Church and includes relevant biblical teaching. Our hope at St Peter’s is everyone who uses the church for important times in their lives or joins in our many social events may discover more of God's unconditional love for them.

The parish of Kells: St Peter is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Carlisle’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
