St Luke

Welcome to St Luke's! We are a small village Church, dating back to Norman times but rebuilt at the turn of the last century. Several Norman features are included in the structure of the 'new' Church.

Services are held every other Sunday followed by coffee and biscuits - a warm welcome is always included! On the second Sunday of the month we celebrate Holy Communion at 9.30am. On the fourth Sundays of the month we share Morning Prayer at 9.30am

We are also a Champing church - open for overnight bookings from March - October. To find out more, or to make a booking, please visit www.champing.co.uk/church/clifton-west-cumbria-st-lukes-church/

The parish of Clifton: St Luke is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Carlisle’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
