Remembrance Sunday Service

Cressing: St Barnabas
Claude Ince Avenue Tye Green Cressing, CM77 8HL, United Kingdom

This Sunday is Remembrance Sunday, and we will gather at St Barnabas at 10.30am for Holy Communion, as we remember those who have lost their lives in war and conflict, those who have served, and all whose lives have been forever changed by the consequences of war.

Remembrance Sunday offers us a moment to pause, to give thanks for the courage and sacrifice of others, and to reflect on the preciousness of peace. It is also a time to hold in prayer those who continue to live with the effects of conflict, both around the world and closer to home.
As Christians, we remember not only with gratitude and sorrow, but also with hope. Our faith calls us to be peacemakers, to seek reconciliation where there is division, and to trust in God's promise that darkness and death will never have the final word.
We will remember them.

Cressing: St Barnabas

Hello!

Welcome to St Barnabas Church in the friendly village of Tye Green Cressing. We are the sister church of our parish church of All Saints in Cressing.

All Saints and St Barnabas are progressive places, where lives come together in the wonder and exploration of God, as revealed through his Son, Jesus Christ.

All are invited - you don't need to have been to church before, or need to come to every service, wear special clothes or not have any questions or doubts - all are welcome to explore what you believe with us!
