About Us

We are a rural Church proud of our history and traditions, and yet very much engaged with contemporary life. We pride ourselves on the quality of our welcome, worship and music. We endeavour to be an inclusive Christian community serving 4 villages and a new housing development in north Cheshire. We offer pastoral support and prayer regardless of where you are on the journey of exploring the Christian faith. We are here to help you mark and celebrate the important events (baptisms, weddings etc) in your life.

We are the birthplace of Lewis Carroll (Charles Lutwidge Dodgson) the author of Alice in Wonderland. The Lewis Carroll Visitor Centre tells the story of his early life and influences  The Daniell Chapel contains the Lewis Carroll Memorial Window.

We are open every day from 10.00am. Guide books are available and on Sunday and Wednesday afternoons our volunteer guides are around to help you
