Come and be part of our Good Friday Three Hours at the Cross (12 noon–3.00pm), as we pause to reflect on the final hours of Jesus' life and the hope found in his death.
This year we are delighted to welcome Rev. Jenny Bridgeman as our guest speaker. Through a series of reflections, Jenny will explore the thought-provoking theme:
What does it look like to use power and authority well?
In a world where power is so often associated with control, status and self-interest, the cross reveals a very different picture. As we journey through the Passion story, we'll consider how Jesus redefines authority through humility, service, courage and self-giving love—and what that might mean for our lives, our communities and our world today.
You are welcome to stay for the whole three hours or simply join us for part of the afternoon. There will be space for prayer, silence, music and reflection as we gather at the foot of the cross on the most solemn day of the Christian year.
Whether you come to church regularly, are exploring faith for the first time, or are simply looking for a quiet space to reflect this Good Friday, you will receive a warm welcome.
You don't need to stay for the whole three hours, or even an hour! You're welcome to stay for as long or as short as you wish
