About Us

The Parish of Timperley is part of the Diocese of Chester within the Church of England. It is our responsibility to provide for the spiritual needs of all who live within the parish boundaries (see here), of any faith or none. In practice, this means providing the following things:

- Sunday and midweek worship services

- Baptisms, weddings and funerals

- Ministry to children 

- Visiting people at home or in hospital/residential and nursing homes

- A regular prayer meeting

- Study courses to provide and deepen knowledge of the Christian faith

- Mothers' Union and Association of Church Fellowship Groups

- Leading assemblies in local schools

- Preparing people to be confirmed

Regular Sunday service pattern:

8 am Holy Communion 

10.45 am service:

1st Sunday of month - Joint All Age service with Holy Cross

2nd Sunday of month - Holy Communion with Parish Sunday School 

3rd, 4th, 5th Sunday of month - Holy Communion 

We have a children's corner stocked with toys and activities available every week 

6.30pm Evening service 

1st Sunday of month - Holy Communion with Prayer for Healing

2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th Sunday of month - Evensong
