Following the announcement on 31st October the church will be closed from Thursday 5th November until Wednesday 2nd December except for:<span style="font-size: 1rem;">Funerals</span>To broadcast acts of worshipIndividual prayer<span style="font-size: 1rem;">Funerals can be attended by a maximum of 30 people, and it is advised that only close friends and family attend. Linked ceremonial events such as stone settings and ash scatterings can also continue with up to 15 people in attendance. Anyone working is not included. Social distancing should be maintained between people who do not live together or share a support bubble.</span>Weddings, civil partnership ceremonies will not be permitted to take place except in exceptional circumstances.
We have now resumed physical services in both St. Peter's and St. Stephens however these are being conducted under restrictions. There is no singing and face coverings are mandatory. In addition because of the requirement to maintain social distancing our seating capacity is limited and there are no children's activities.The services are being filmed and made available via our YouTube channel (normally later the same day).
