Harvest service for people shielding from the coronavirus

Occuring
Every Fourth Sunday at for 45 mins
Venue
Hulme Walfield Church
Address
Giantswood Lane Hulme Walfield Congleton CW12 2HH, United Kingdom

It is our Harvest Festival this Sunday at 11.30am. We are going to be following the same safety measures as previously for those shielding, but are hoping to have a few more of our regular congregation back as well. There is plenty of room in St Michael's!

If you want to bring harvest gifts, we would appreciate anything preserved which can then go down to the Storehouse foodbank.

If you intend to come to one of our services, please read the attached safety notice first.

For people who have been advised to keep away from others for the time being, this service has been set up with whatever precautions are possible. Hulme Walfield is the largest church in the Rural Daneside Group, so the greatest social distance is possible.

Hulme Walfield Church

We were very sorry to say goodbye recently to our vicar, Revd Ian Arch, who has moved on to a new life in Wales with his family. The Rural Daneside Churches are now in the process of finding and appointing a new vicar and, in the meantime, the work of the church continues.

For any enquiries, please use the "Get in Touch" page.

Services are held in church bi-monthly, and alternately with St Peter's Church, Swettenham. Sometimes we hold an extra one. For details of services, please see  'Services and events'.

St Michael's, Hulme Walfield is the daughter church of the parish church at Eaton.
