St James

Welcome to St James Church in the Parish of Millbrook including Carrbrook, in Tameside near Manchester.

We'd love to meet you at our Sunday or midweek Services or at our Wednesday Social Club. Find out more about how to get involved by going to our Services and Events Page. We are also opening our church on Thursday afternoons for anyone who would like to find a warm place to spend a few hours with a hot drink and a biscuit.

Safeguarding

Our parish of Millbrook: St James is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Chester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO at [email protected] or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor at [email protected] If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
