Holy Cross Church is a small and friendly Christian community. We are an inclusive church which does not discriminate, on any level, on grounds of economic power, gender, mental health, physical ability, race or sexuality. We welcome and serve all people in the name of Jesus Christ.
Our main weekly worship service is on a Sunday morning at 9:20 am but we also have a quiet contemplative service on a Monday evening at 7 pm. We hold special services at Easter and Christmas (see our calendar) and hold a number of Bible study courses throughout the year.
Our dual-purpose building is home to various groups throughout the week including a term-time parent and toddler group, craft group, gentle exercise class, model railway group, Rainbows and Brownies and Slimming World.
There are also social events throughout the year, with a monthly coffee morning, quizzes, talks, musical evenings etc.
Everyone is very welcome to any of our events or services. Anyone interested in arranging a baptism, wedding or the reading of Banns at Holy Cross should come to church after our Sunday morning worship (between 10.30 - 11.30 am) or contact the Curate, Revd Liz Harris.
