THE COLLECTION AT MASS

At the Sunday morning Mass a collection is taken during the offertory hymn. The purpose of this collection is to enable members of the congregation to support the work of the parish. It costs nearly £1,000 a week to run St John’s, so we are grateful for your contribution. If it is easier for you to make your contribution by card, there is a card reader at the back of church.

At the evening Mass no collection is taken, but donation plates and the card reader are available to enable you to give to the parish.

GOA ANGLICAN CENTRE FESTIVAL

Next Sunday we will host the regional festival of the Goa Anglican Centre. Lunch will be provided as part of the festival—do let Fr Dexter know if you would like to join that. In the afternoon there will be a presentation on the work of the charity.

RECTORY GARDEN PARTY

Fr Dexter and Amy invite parishioners to join them for a garden party at the Rectory on Saturday 9 August from 2.00pm to 4.00pm.
