Today we give thanks for the harvest, and the morning Mass is followed by a harvest lunch. There is no charge for the lunch but donations are invited.

APPOINTMENT OF THE ARCHBISHOP OF CANTERBURY
Many will have seen the news that the Rt Rev Sarah Mullally has been appointed as Archbishop of Canterbury. Do hold Bishop Sarah in your prayers as she takes up this challenging appointment.
Bishop Paul has written a letter to his parishes—do take a copy of that from the back of church. Fr Dexter is happy to speak to anyone who has questions relating to this appointment.
CHRISTMAS DINNER
The parish Christmas dinner will take place on Friday 12 December. Deposits of £15 will be required very soon. Please sign the list at the back of church if you would like to attend.
