Holy Hour - prayer before the Blessed Sacrament

We will have the opportunity to pray before Our Lord in his sacramental presence. Part of the hour will include some simple guided reflections, and the final part of the hour will be dedicated to prayer for the many people on our parish prayer list who are in need of healing.

Mass of the Lord's Supper

On the night when we commemorate Jesus being betrayed, we celebrate the institution of the sacrament of the Eucharist. Just before he is handed over to death, Jesus gives us this memorial of his death and resurrection. This Mass is followed by a Watch of Prayer as we remember the words of Jesus "could you not watch with me one hour?"

Easter Vigil

We join our friends at St Nicholas, Radford, for the Easter Vigil, as we light the Easter fire, hear the prophecies of the Old Testament, renew our baptismal promises and celebrate the resurrection of Jesus with the first Mass of Easter.
