The rosary, in which we ask Mary to assist us with her prayers as we ponder some of the mysteries of the Gospel, is a simple devotion that many find helpful. If you have never used the rosary before you are welcome to join us, and we will guide you through it.

A simple said celebration of the Mass.

During Lent, Evening Prayer will be said in church on Tuesdays and Fridays at 5.30pm. Do join us for this opportunity to pray the psalms, hear Holy Scripture and to pray together for the church and the world.

The church is open for private prayer. Come and pray, light a candle or just enjoy the peace and tranquility of the church.
Our Rector is generally available at this time for anyone who wishes to speak to him, or to make arrangements for Christenings, Weddings or other occasions.

Our cafe is held in the church hall. We can offer warm and cold drinks, some tasty treats, and the chance to catch up with friends and perhaps make some new ones!

An opportunity to join in this traditional devotion as we walk with Jesus to the cross, praying for ourselves and for the world.

Our main Sunday celebration in which we are fed by Our Lord in Word and Sacrament. Parts of the service and hymns are sung, and coffee is served after Mass.

On the five Tuesdays of Lent we will take an overview of the Bible, and seek to understand the breadth of the Bible’s contents.

24 February—the history of the Old Testament
3 March—Law, Wisdom , Poetry in the Old Testament
10 March—Prophecy in the Old Testament
17 March—The Gospels
24 March—The Letters of the Early Church

Followed by tea and a time for conversation at 3.00pm.

A simple, prayerful and reflective service in which healing ministries are usually offered. The service is followed by a simple lunch. All are welcome to join us for this.

We are a support group that meets every second Tuesday of the month in St John's church hall.
