Coronavirus guidance from the Church of England

We regret that all church buildings remain closed for public worship and for individual prayer by members of the public at the present time, in line with Government advice.  However the Wardens of both churches are working strenuously to establish a pattern of worship that will hopefully suit all. Please read the article under News and Notices.   There are also many locally streamed services and events taking place and a range of national online church resources to engage with.

As the restrictions imposed during the Covid-19 pandemic are being slightly relaxed, the PCC have decided to revert to a regular pattern of services at Stoneleigh Church.
All services will be held at 11 am, and will take the form of a Holy Eucharist inside the church, except for the third Sunday of the month when the service will be held outside the church and will be a Celtic-style morning prayer. Seating is available but should the weather prove inclement we will move inside the church with the form of service remaining the same.
On the first Sunday of each month Eucharist will be celebrated as a United Service at either Ashow or Stoneleigh, with the one at Ashow starting at 10 am on Odd months, and the Stoneleigh service at 11 am on Even months.
Please note that until we are advised otherwise, existing regulations must apply:
1. Social distancing and hygiene regulations must be observed
2. Masks must continue to be worn
3. The congregation may join in the singing when we are outside, but congregational singing is not allowed within the building
4. To avoid the risk of infection, hymn books and prayer books will not be used, but printed sheets of the Order of Service, the words of hymns for the day, and the Weekly Pew Sheet are available. (See the index on the left of the page for downloading your own copy). You are asked to take these home with you, and where applicable to bring them with you the following week.
