It is a quiet reflecting time and is based on a Celtic style of worship. All our welcome to join us for this very special period.

The Gospel According to Others
…the supporting characters’ point of view
 King Herod has his own way to deal with a new born King.
 Joseph and his family are to become refugees.
 Nicodemas. A priest realises he knows nothing about God.
 Lazarus. Does he now believe in resurrection?
 Peter. What was it like to walk on water?
 Joseph of Arimathea. Did he take the boy Jesus on a foreign sea voyage? If he did, what did that friendship look like? What will he do with the empty tomb on his estate?

This is actor Andrew Cullum’s personal view of some of the peripheral characters in a familiar story. It is not the Gospel according to any of the better known writers, but the Gospel… According to Others.

Andrew Cullum trained at Webber Douglas in the 1980s. He has played many theatre seasons in roles ranging from Richard III to Pantomime Dame. Television work includes The Crown, EastEnders, Emmerdale and Brum.
Andrew has a prolific career as a narrator of audiobooks, with over sixty available through Audible.

He wrote and produced a play, The Panto Girls which played in the UK and Canada and his first novel, Lights Burning Blue, is a page-turning thriller with a theatrical setting. www.andrewcullum.co.uk

Morning Prayer with Holy Communion

Monthly. Every Fourth, Fifth Sunday at for 1 hour

Held on the fourth (and fifth, where there is one) Sunday of each month. The services cater for all age groups and children are encouraged to participate in activities during the service. There is a mixed selection of music which we believe suits all tastes, and much use is made of the audio and visual systems we have installed in the church. The refreshments served after the service are very much appreciated and many people stay to join in the fellowship.
