There will be imposition of ashes - a very ancient practice of the Christian Church which is a sign of the spirit of penitence with which we shall keep the season of Lent.

A Common Worship Eucharist service with hymns and coffee and biscuits afterwards.

There will be four walks during Lent starting at 2 p.m. Each walk will begin in a benefice church and end in another of the benefice churces for a short act of workship followed by refreshments'

A holy communion service at which we will receive palm crosses.This is to remind us of the very first Palm Sunday when Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a donkey as the crowds threw palms on the road.
