Bishop Sophie invites us all to join in simple weekly Advent prayers from 30 November (Advent Sunday) onwards. 

There is a booklet available here Watching & Waiting Booklet - NEW or paper copies can be found in all our churches. 

You can use the booklet on your own, or gather a little group (2-6 people is the ideal size) to meet together for an hour each week.  

There is a short Bible story to read each week and a video reflection from Bishop Sophie that you can watch online. Then there are some simple questions about your own experience to discuss, and some ideas for a 'make and do' activity to use if you want to. The sessions finish with topics for prayer and a set prayer for each week.
