Ilmington Flower Festival 2026

Ilmington based-groups and businesses have created floral displays based on the theme of "Music". Entry is free but any donations received will go towards much-needed organ repairs. We'll be opening the Festival at 6pm on Sunday 23 August with our annual Hymns and Pimms, and closing the Festival at 7pm on Sunday 30 August with an organ recital by Charles Matthews. Charles will be playing Organ Symphonies Nos. 1 and 5 by Widor. There will be an interval between the two symphonies when refreshments will be served. Tickets are £10 and available from Ilmington Community Shop, [email protected] and 07989 722 886.

St Mary's, Ilmington

Welcome to Ilmington Church! We have a friendly congregation which worships in a building that dates from before the Norman Conquest, with an excellent organ, good singing and thoughtful sermons. We love to receive visitors any day of the week, but particularly if they join us for a Sunday Service. 

Our Sunday services are ALWAYS at 11am (UNLESS it's the 4th Sunday of the month, when we meet at 6pm for Evensong).

Ilmington Church also features eleven carved wooden mice tucked away in the pews and other places - they are great fun to search for, and children are usually much better at this than adults! There's a crib sheet telling you where they all are, if you need a helping hand.
