Welcome to the home page of St Margaret's Wormhill, in Tideswell Parish.
Coronavirus Guidance: Latest
We apologise that we are not able to open St Margaret's for private prayer at this time, but you'll find St John's at Tideswell open 10am-4pm daily from June 22nd, and you're welcome to call there.
The Church continues to be alive and active, but our buildings must remain closed
Government guidelines say that we must distance ourselves from one another and prevent the spread of infection in order to save lives.
Therefore, as well as public worship being suspended, all church buildings in the Church of England must remain closed.
Our worship of God and our care for each other continue but, for now, cannot be done in this building.
You can join others online for a short service at midday every Sunday; please let Simon know if you'd like to receive a secure Zoom link, by emailing [email protected]
We post a five minute Gospel reflection on our Facebook page every Sunday.
You can find other local, online services at derby.anglican.org/streams >

The parish of Tideswell: St John the Baptist is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Derby’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services
