Open House every Wednesday morning offers a warm welcome to everyone.

Starting at 11am with free hot drinks/juice and biscuits, come along for some company, offer a solution to a crossword, bring your knitting or another craft.

Or, at a distance from the above, ‘work from home’, charge your phone, and access the WiFi.

The traditional language (Book of Common Prayer) Said Service of Holy Communion for all our churches, and indeed everyone across the area, now takes place on the first Sunday of the month at St Andrew's Church, Hadfield. Do come along, a warm welcome at a fully accessible church building and car parking at the church for your ease if required. Service start is 8am, we look forward to seeing you.

Hadfield & Padfield Heritage Group present an evening talk by John Searle 'The Lost Villages of Derbyshire'. Admission £5 (payable on the door), with refreshments (tea/coffee and homemade cakes) and a raffle. We look forward to seeing you!

All proceeds will go to the maintenance of the clock in the grounds of St Andrew's Church. Erected in 1955, the clock was given by grateful members of the community in memory of Rev. Archie White.

On the third Saturday of each month, there will be a church work party 9.00am-12.00pm. The idea is that we spend time doing jobs in church, which could be cleaning specific areas of church, clearing cupboards, building shelves, tidying up and, when weather permits, outside gardening tasks. It is hoped that as time goes on we can start to build a programme of maintenance.
We hope that you will come as and when you are able, even if you can only stay for an hour or two.

On Saturday 21st September 2024, 10am-12pm, we're holding a Coffee Morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. Serving tea/coffee, cakes and savouries, with a raffle and cake stall too. We look forward to seeing you.
