With the foundation of a Mission church in March 1868 to the present day, the Church of St. Luke the Evangelist has proclaimed the Christian faith in the distinctive Catholic tradition of the Church of England. From within the walls of this beautiful and inspiring Parish Church generations of Christians, both young and old, nourished in word and sacrament, have been sent out to live and work to the praise and glory of the one God who has revealed himself as Father Son and Holy Spirit. For 140 years Priests and people have served the Lord well and enabled St. Luke's to make a real and lasting contribution benefiting the population of the California district of Derby. St. Luke's continues to provide support and guidance through God's love for worshippers young and old. A family orientated Church, St. Luke's is a welcoming place for all who need, want or find it.
Our Main Service is the Sung Parish Mass which is held at 10.15 am every Sunday. The evening services are as announced.
Baptisms, Weddings and Funerals are by arrangement.
