Joyce Harpur Charity
The Joyce Harpur Charity was set up in Littleover in the 16th century to benefit 'the poor of the parish' and over the centuries has shared financial support with those in desperate need. Money is only given to individuals and is at the discretion of the trustees.
The Joyce Harpur Charity invites grant applications for individuals living in difficult circumstances. Applicants must live within the church boundaries of St Peter’s Littleover or St Andrew’s Blagreaves, have a proven financial need, and may be interviewed at home. Applications are usually invited each Autumn and monies distributed before Christmas.
