St Augustine's

Welcome to Gussies!

We worship as a church family on Sunday mornings at 10 am.

Worship is based on Common Worship, with homemade booklets designed to provide variety, to encourage congregational participation (including children), and to celebrate each liturgical season well. Sung worship is a mixture of worship songs and hymns. Each service includes a time of reflection and a time of sharing, and sometimes discussion groups or creative activities.

After the Service we usually have refreshments and a chance to chat. Everyone is welcome to join us!

On Wednesdays we run 'Gathering Place Café' 10am-12.

As part of the café we host the Jubilee debt and advice clinic in partnership with Derby City Mission. You can book appointments through DCM, or turn up between 10 am and 11.30 am. If you are in need of support with debt, benefit or food parcels, you can also contact DCM by telephoning 01332 460 347 or email [email protected]

Safeguarding

The parish Walbrook Epiphany, Derby is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Derby’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
