Services

9.30am Parish Communion (using Common Worship) is our main service of the week, and uses the Church of England’s contemporary range of services. There is plenty of music, ranging in style from modern worship songs to well loved hymns. At major festivals the Joint Benefice choir may sing too.

Christians of any denomination who are used to receiving communion in their own churches are very welcome to do so here.

There is a sermon, which may be given by the vicar, an associate priest or a visiting speaker (it will usually last no more than 10-15 minutes). Around 25 people, of all ages, attend this service, and there is a children’s area at the back of the church.

About every 6 weeks we enjoy joint services with friends at our sister church, St Mary Magalene, Belmont, alternately here and there. If we are at Belmont then the service will be at 10.30am instead, so do check the diary!

We believe that our children and young people should be able to actively contribute to our worship, and all are welcome to join us.
