It was wonderful to see the children re-enact the crowds welcoming Jesus by waving their palm leaves for Palm Sunday then walking through the journey that Jesus took in holy week all the way up to the foot of the cross. The children hung prayers from the cross with red ribbon as a symbolic act. A beautiful and poignant session. Messy church will be back in June with a theme of Pentecost.
