Accessibility
There is a car parking area outside the west entrance gate, across the road from the Spar shop.
The west gate entrance is suitable for wheelchair access.

All are welcome to come into the church during the day for quiet reflection or private prayer.
A toilet is available with baby changing facilities next to the cafe area at the back of church.

Weekly on Wednesday evening: 7.00pm - 9.00pm
Fortnightly on the 2nd and 4th Mondays: 10.30am - 12.00 noon.

Concerts and choral events held in church are advertised locally from time to time.
St Michael’s has a friendly and enthusiastic choir. Weekly practice night - Tuesday evenings, 7.00 pm.

Our monthly Evening @ St Michael’s service has proved very popular, providing contemporary worship led by our praise band with guitars, keyboard, drums and singers.
Join us every 3rd Sunday of the month. Refreshments are served from 5.30pm, music starts at 6.00pm.
Groups, Courses and Activities
Christianity Explored, Discipleship Explored, and Alpha courses have taken place and were well attended.
We hope to offer further opportunities for people to explore and deepen their Christian faith in the future.
A Bible study group meets fortnightly in church on Thursday mornings at 11.00 am.

Stay and Play at St Michael's Church
Wednesday mornings - 10 am-11.30 am
For parents/carers with pre-school children.
Come along and meet others in a friendly and fun environment.
Volunteers needed to help keep the Memorial Garden flower beds tidy.
Volunteers needed to join the churchyard grass-cutting rota.
You don't have to be a church-goer to help out.
Help for Visitors
There are guide books available at the back of the church.
Open daily: 9am until 4pm
A dedicated prayer corner provides a quiet focus, with candles and a prayer tree, where visitors can write their own prayers and hang them among those left by others.
Other Features
The church is a drop-off point for donations to the Foodbank and Darlington Women's Refuge.
The 9.30 am Sunday service is presented on-screen, with the order of service, prayers and hymns all included, so separate service booklets and hymn books are no longer required.
