The parish of Heighington is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops’ safeguarding guidance and policies.
Our Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO) is Chris Enzor, who can be contacted on 07956 064580.
The Diocese of Durham’s safeguarding webpages provide further information, useful links and contact details for the diocesan safeguarding team, which supports and advises our PSO.

If someone is in immediate danger, call 999. For other urgent safeguarding concerns, contact the police and your local authority’s children’s or adult social care services.
