The Women’s Refuge provides emergency accommodation and practical support for women and their children from the local area, who are experiencing domestic abuse and need a safe place to stay.

Many people arrive with very few belongings, and there is therefore an ongoing need for essential household and personal care items.  Donations of toiletries (such as shampoo, soap, toothpaste and sanitary products), toilet rolls, cleaning products, and kitchen equipment are always appreciated.

Items for babies and toddlers are also very welcome, including nappies, wipes, and baby food. Small toys can also help provide comfort and normality during what can be a difficult time.

Donations can be left inside the box at the back of St Michael’s Church, or delivered to 1 Greenhill Road, Heighington. DL5 6RN
