Holy Communion is celebrated on the 1st, 2nd, 4th and 5th Sundays of each month.
Our All-Age Family Service takes place every 3rd Sunday.
Afterwards please stay a while longer to enjoy refreshments and a friendly chat.
Families with children are warmly welcomed at all of our services.

Christmas Services at St Michael’s Church
7th December – 4.00 pm Christingle Service
A joyful family-friendly start to the Christmas season.
14th December – 6.00 pm 9 Lessons and Carols
Including traditional carols sung by an enhanced choir, and lessons read by representatives of the community. Afterwards all are warmly invited to stay for mulled wine and mince pies.
21st December – 6.00 pm Christmas Evening @ St Michael’s
A festive community event featuring live music and singing.
Seasonal refreshments served from 5.15 pm.
22nd December – 7.00 pm Blue Christmas Service
A gentle, reflective service for those who find Christmas a difficult time.
Christmas Eve – 3.00 pm Carols Round the Tree
Don your Christmas jumpers and join in the fun for this much-loved family favourite!
Christmas Eve Communion by Candlelight – 8.30 pm
A warm and uplifting candlelit service, led by Revd David Payne, welcoming Christmas in a spirit of peace and joy.
Please note the earlier start time.
Christmas Day Morning Worship with Holy Communion – 9.30 am
Join us in celebration with worship, carols and a true spirit of Christmas.
The service will end in candlelight, as we form a circle around the nave, each holding a candle of hope.

St Michael's Church is the venue for the "Drop-in"
Call in for tea or coffee, biscuits and cakes, and a friendly chat.
Every Monday except Bank Holidays.
Everybody is welcome!
Stay and Play - we welcome all children with their parents/grandparents/carers.
Free tea/coffee and biscuits
£2.50 per adult and child - 50p per additional adult/child
We meet for our mid-week service every Thursday in the choir stalls for Holy Communion (occasionally it will be Morning Prayer).
Heighington Primary School Years 5 & 6 usually join the congregation.
All welcome to stay a while afterwards for light refreshments and a friendly chat.
Occasionally the service is held at Heighington Primary School.
Annual service telling the story of the wonderful events at Christmas with lots of favourite carols for everyone to sing and led by our choir.

Join us for a special evening of Christmas celebration with our own band of musicians and singers.
Help yourself to seasonal food and drinks, served from 5.15pm, then take your seats at 6pm to sing along to modern Christian worship songs with a Christmas theme.
Everyone will be warmly welcomed.
A gentle, comforting service especially for people who due to past events find Christmas really difficult. It may be a bereavement, illness or some other significant life event. It is a time to be quiet and reflective.

The Countdown to Christmas Begins!
Don your Christmas jumpers and join us on Christmas Eve at 3pm for our popular community gathering.
We’ll sing favourite Christmas carols together and fill the church with festive joy and laughter. Children are especially welcome to join in the singing and share in the magic of the season.
