St Cuthbert

St. Cuthbert’s Church is situated in the heart of Blaydon; we are a friendly and welcoming group of people seeking to make the love of God known to all through our worship, fellowship and activities.

Please see our website https://blaydonstcuthbert.com and facebook page St. Cuthbert's Church Blaydon for further information

We are open for our service of Holy Communion at 10.15am every Sunday.

Arrangements are in place to comply with Covid19 guidelines provided by the UK Government and the Church of England.  Please note that  face coverings are to be worn.

If you feel unsafe visiting our church at present, we encourage you to continue to pray at home,  a prayer booklet is available to help you pray, if needed, you will find it on our website which is blaydonstcuthbert.com.  We continue to pray for our community, please let us know if you want prayers said for a particular person, or a situation or if you need help or would like a chat.

The parish of Blaydon is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Durham’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
