Rev John's last service with our group of four churches will be on October 19th when we will all be at a combined service.This service will be held at Christ Church, Lumley at 10.30am. Rev John has been our priest-in-charge since 2020 when he joined the group of four churches (West Rainton, East Rainton, Lumley and Chilton Moor) at the start of the covid pandemic. After this somewhat fraught start, which threw him into YouTube services, he has seen his ministry grow and bring together the churches in fellowship. Supported by Rev Christine Britcliffe, he has also encouraged the development of lay ministry in his group. We will miss him and wish him, and his family, God's Blessings in the years ahead.
