As Covid becomes a part of our lives our churches will continue with dynamic risk assessmnets. We are beginning to offer the chalice again, although there is no pressure to receive it, communion is full communion even if only received in one kind.
New service rotas mean we now have returned to live in-person services. As Covid -19 is still present around us and to protect the vulnerable we continue to wear face masks for the time being and hand sanitiser is still provided at the church door. We are now singing. Currently the Communion elements (bread and wine) are still only shared through the bread.

The following churches will re-open for Private Prayer within the Benefice from Monday 15th June 2020. Arrington, Barrington, Croydon and Orwell. Wimpole will re-open on Wednesdays 10 - 12 starting on 5th August. The churches have been cleaned and hand sanitiser will be available at the door. There will also be restrictions on seating and numbers allowed in the church at any one time (eg Arrington can only accommodate up to 10 people at any one time by observing the 2m physical distancing that we have to abide by). Individual churches will have notices explaining things at the door. If you are showing signs of Covid-19 then do not enter the church. In case we do have someone that has developed symptoms after visiting the church we are asking people to sign a register so that all other contacts can be tracked through the Government tracing scheme.
