Introducing: THE 1086 GUILD

Since its first mention in the Domesday Book of 1086, All Saints Church has stood as the very heart of Buckworth in Cambridgeshire - a witness to nearly a millennium of village life, celebrations, and shared history.

To ensure this legacy continues for the next thousand years, we are delighted to announce the formation of The 1086 Guild.

This newly formed committee takes its name from our earliest roots, but its focus is firmly on the future. 

The Guild’s mission is twofold: to host vibrant social events that bring our community together and to lead fundraising efforts that protect and enhance our beautiful church.

Whether you have a knack for planning a summer fete, a passion for local history, or simply want to help keep our village heritage alive, there is a place for you in The 1086 Guild. We are not just a committee; we are the modern stewards of a 940-year-old story.
