Normally meet in the Churchyard in Coveney. A very informal activity-based service for all ages. Especially for those unused to normal, formal church services or who want something a bit different. Children/Vulnerable adults must be accompanied by a parent or carer. Stay for hot drinks and refreshments. Please wear appropriate clothing for outdoors activities

St Peters Coveney

All are welcome at St Peters. Our regular services are on the 2nd and 4th Sundays. On the 2nd Sunday there is a 10am Service of the Word, and on the 4th Sunday we have Communion at 9:15 (Order 1 in Traditional Language) and a service of the Word at 10am. There is always tea, coffee, cakes and lots of friendly conversation after each service. 

We also try to hold a range of other services and events, including some outdoor 'Forest Church' type services and other activities that speak to a range of backgrounds and Church-going experience.

Our Mission is to be God's disciples here in Coveney, showing the Light of Christ in our daily lives, our conversations, our support for each other and the wider community. We hope that people of all faiths and beliefs might come to find comfort in this centuries old building.

The parish of Coveney is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Ely’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services

When making a referral by calling the Safeguarding Duty Messaging Service, please leave a message with your name, telephone number, and a brief explanation of the reason for your call. The team member on duty will be alerted to your message and will call you back to discuss your safeguarding referral, offering professional advice and support, and together with you, agree on a plan to manage the next steps.
