Stretham Feast Weekend is our village’s annual celebration, bringing everyone together for fun, community spirit, and local pride. On Sunday, the much‑loved float parade fills the streets with colour and creativity. This year’s theme is “Around the World”, so expect plenty of global flair and imagination. We’re delighted to be supporting Ely Foodbank and Arthur Rank Hospice, two charities making a real difference in our community.

Saturday has a Feast Market, around the Village Cross, which includes 'Coffee and Cake in Church' plus stalls and there's a 'Party in the Park' on the Recreational Grounds.

Sunday's Feast Parade starts with a short outdoor service @ 12:45 led by our new Team Rector, The Revd Christopher Hollingshurst; who you can also meet at our stall on the Recreational Grounds after the Parade.

A wonderful weekend for all ages and a great way to celebrate village life.

Local Band practice session

Wednesdays, 9.30 - 10.00 am, in the "glass room" at the church. A time of worship using the Northumbria Community morning prayer order, with time for Biblical reflection and open prayer.

One-to-one bell-handling tuition at 9:15am 10am & 10:45, followed by Ringing Together Practice for those wanting to ring with others starting at 11:30am.
(all sessions must be pre-booked)

We’ll share updates, elect PCC members, and celebrate all that’s been happening in our parish.
Tea, coffee and plenty of cake will be served — come and enjoy the chance to catch up and be part of the conversation.

Open to all, a time for coffee, cake and chat in a relaxed atmosphere. Often with background music.

Morning Praise with healing

Commemorating the Armistice and the service and sacrifice of all those that have defended our freedoms and protected our way of life.

A special service which focuses on why this season may be difficult for some people.

A joyful celebration that brings families and communities together to share the light of Jesus and spread a message of hope.

Plough Sunday reminds us that before there can be harvest, there must first be hope, hard work and faith. We start the year with hope for farmers and the soil, with a traditional blessing of the plough.
