The solemn blessing in darkness of the Easter (Paschal) Candle, representing the unquenchable light of the Risen Christ. The light is shared around all who are present.

FESTIVAL OF STORY
eadings from the holy Bible, calling to mind God's saving actions 'from the beginning', culminating is the Resurrection of Jesus to new and everlasting life.

FESTIVAL OF WATER
The Blessing of the Baptismal Water of the Font, the Sacraments of Christian Initiation, and the renewal of our Baptismal Christian commitment.

FESTIVAL OF THANKSGIVING
the first Eucharist and Holy Communion of Easter.
