Coronavirus guidance from the Church of England

In light of the Government guidance, the Church of England has said that all churches are to close to help prevent the spread of coronavirus. Read the statement in full here. You can find a live stream service or event to watch from home here.

Update- Due to Government advice the Church is now locked until further notice so please do not visit Slad and IGNORE the following statement in brackets.

(Please do visit us either to look around or join for a weekly service at 1100am followed by coffee at 1200. . We are very welcoming and visitors are always made welcome. The Church is open for visitors to look around during daylight hours.)

"The parish of Uplands with Slad: Holy Trinity Slad is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Gloucester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services."
