Safeguarding

      Safeguarding Statement for our Benefice.

This benefice aims to comply as fully as possible with these actions:-

A list of safeguarding officers for each parish is posted at each of the 5 churches;

The same list will be included in future editions of the benefice magazine;

All diocesan policies on safeguarding are adopted by each PCC and reviewed annually;

Every benefice and PCC meeting includes safeguarding on the agenda;

A copy of the diocesan safeguarding handbook is issued to each PCC;

This notice is regularly checked, and updated when necessary;
