St Mary's, Lydney

Welcome to St Mary's Lydney. We're a friendly and fairly traditional church and we'd love to see you one day. Our church is open every day between 9am and 5pm, so do feel free to pop in and have a look around. 

We have services every Sunday morning, and would love to welcome you for a baptism or wedding as well. On the last Friday of every month we have a friendly coffee morning open to everyone of any age which runs from 10am. 

Our 8.30am Sunday service is traditional and quiet, a perfect escape from the noise and bustle of the week, and a good place for contemplation and reflection.

Our 10am Sunday services alternate between Holy Communion (1st and 3rd Sundays) and Morning Worship. Services  are sometimes more traditional and sometimes more informal, with hymns and worship songs. On the last Sunday of every month we have a really fun and informal service called Thrive, which is suitable for everyone of all ages and mobility.

All are welcome here, without exception.

Our usual monthly coffee morning on Friday 25th September will be extra special to raise funds for MacMillan Cancer Support. Please come along. There will be a raffle with a food hamper as 1st prize.
