This coming Sunday at 11am , Revd Dr Canon Sunkanmi Osunsanmi and Canon Alexandra Dyer will lead a special service at St. James Church to celebrate Black History Month. Taking the theme “Dig Deeper, Look Closer, Think Bigger”, they will help us to explore the synthesis between the celebration of Black History and the living out of our Christian faith.

Revd Suki helped establish the African Students Fellowship at the University of Gloucestershire where he continues to support cultural faith expression and ethnic minority integration. He also acts, alongside his wife Ade, as co-chair of the Racial Justice Action Group for Gloucester Diocese.

Canon Alexandra is a Reader and honorary Lay Canon of Gloucester Cathedral. She is a member of the West Midlands Racial Justice initiative.
