St Mary de Crypt

Welcome to St Mary deCrypt

The parish of Hempsted with Gloucester, Saint Mary de Lode and Saint Mary de Crypt is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Gloucester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.

Weekly Parish communion service

As we continue to move forward cautiously, sadly Coronavirus has not gone away. Loving kindness is needed as we balance differing expectations and respect those who are nervous or have additional vulnerabilities. We ask therefore that people continue to wear a face covering in our churches to protect others. If you would prefer to continue to sit socially distanced in church, please inform the sidesperson. All those who enter are encouraged to use hand sanitiser and we encourage everyone to make use of the QR code or sign in for the purposes of Test and Trace. For your reassurance, we are maintaining our current cleaning regimes and doors continue to remain open to ensure the best possible ventilation. Please be assured that we will review these covid measures regularly.
