In the Anglican tradition, confirmation is a special church service where candidates affirm the promises made at their baptism, either on their behalf as a baby, or by themselves later in life . The Bishop lays hands on the candidates' heads, asking for God’s Holy Spirit to grant them strength to live in God’s way. It’s also a chance for those already baptised and confirmed to renew their vows. We look forward to welcoming Bishop Robert on this Sunday.

We believe the central message of the Bible is the amazing love of God for us expressed in the sacrificial death and resurrection of Jesus who came that we might ‘have life, and have it to the full (the Bible).’ We believe God speaks to us as we open up the Bible. There we encounter his living presence and discover meaning, strength and purpose in life.
